When we started our company over 15 years ago we had no idea on the wonderful journey it would take us on across the UK and around the globe. We’ve been lucky to work and build long term relationships with brands and businesses of all sizes helping shape their video content as the landscape of online marketing has rapidly evolved over those years.
What brings us the most joy in all of this though is working with wonderful people from all backgrounds and walks of life and being their with them as expand their business and careers but also grow as people, starting families and go on new adventures.
All of this is what makes MGV Productions special, we’re not just a production company looking for the next film shoot, we are here to establish long meaningful and prosperous partnerships with our clients and crew so we can all successfully grow as businesses and people.
JONATHAN PALFREy
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
Jonathan has always had a huge passion for film-making and video content creation. Jonathan provides the creative eye into every film the company produces often working as the director, cinematographer or editor working closely with global brands to meet their creative needs.
Jonathan is also an experienced drone cinematographer capturing aerial footage for luxury resorts in dozens of countries around the world.
With impressive knowledge, he also makes key decisions in how to utilise new technologies, ensuring MGV’s clients always receive the highest quality content.
DANIEL BUTLER
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
Daniel founded MGV Productions along with Jonathan Palfrey and Gavin Sheppard in 2010.
Along with Jonathan, Daniel has directed and produced hundreds of films through MGV Productions producing content for clients across the globe.
Daniel has a passion for film making and understands the need to constantly push the creative boundaries of projects that he works on.
Daniel’s skills and experience allow him to be able to adapt to any role within the creative department, whether it be shooting behind the camera, using technical expertise for creative lighting set ups or piecing a film together in the editing process.
GAVIN SHEPPARD
MANAGING DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
With a proven track record of successful sales and business development spanning over 3 decades and differing industries, Gavin became one of the founder members of MGV Productions in 2010, and is responsible for running the business, corporate strategy and development of new products and marketplaces.
Over the last 10 years, Gavin has worked hard to make MGV Productions a leader in media, graphics and visual productions.
BRANDON THOMPSON
CREATIVE PARTNER
Brandon joined MGV Productions straight out of university, his natural talent for editing, filmmaking and photography made him the perfect fit with MGV Productions.
Over the past few years Brandon has grown to become our Creative Partner, not only continuing to produce content for existing clients but also leading with new accounts on their creative production journey.
